State of the Studio #6

It's been quite a while.
I've painted lots of things in the three odd months its been since the New Years. here's a list of things that haven't been photographed yet:

Mortenebra
Deryliss
Stonework Devastator (Waiting til May to put it up. Entered it in a contest.)
Iron Lich Asphyxious (Commission)
Deneghra (Commission)
Two Reaper Miniatures (Commissions)
A Goblin Squig Rider (Gift)
Original Vlad Sculpt (Gift)

Things are going well. I have little time to take photographs, but I've found time enough to paint during the week, so when I do update my account it'll probably be huge updates like the one I just did.

And hey, I broke 200 Deviations. Sweet.

    Well, sculpti-wise these are models put out by Games Workshop/Privateer Press/ ETC. Deviantart, unfortunately, does not have an art section for Miniatures (or one that I haven't found), hence why some of my stuff appears in the sculpture section, which was the closest I could find.

    Are you kidding me? I freakin' LOVE concept art, especially for games like Warmachine and what have you. The transition from concept to actuality is awesome.

    There are some shortcuts I know that save time on shading and highlighting, but the truth is? I try to paint at least thirty minutes a day, usually at my lunch break at work, and then come home and paint a bit more, usually in the evening after everything's done with.
    Someday I'd like to enter a speed painting competition though...that'd be fun....
